Chief Technology Officer – London or Dublin

Walkers is a leading offshore law firm providing legal, corporate and fiduciary services to global corporations, financial institutions, capital market participants and investment fund managers. The firm advise on the laws of Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey and Ireland.  

The firm are looking to recruit a new Chief Technology Officer who will have a global remit. This individual will be a business leader, enabling business growth and enhancement with technology. The CTO will play a vital role in oversight and leadership of the technology function and will be responsible for aligning the technology strategy and infrastructure with the firm’s business objectives. Reporting directly to the Management Committee, the CTOs responsibilities will include the planning, implementing, supporting and managing of all technology systems and infrastructure supporting Walkers’ mission-critical business operations, as well as ensuring the availability, integrity and security of all technology platforms.

The firm have a diverse business, and seek to use technology to differentiate themselves in many areas and the mission of this role is to make Walkers technology recognised within the industry as market leading.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading, developing and managing a diverse team and will possess a high degree of technical fluency across infrastructure, applications and security. Experience within either law, professional services or regulatory technology would be particularly of interest.
