Our client is a rapidly growing UK-based Variety Wholesaler with a broad category portfolio across branded Food and Non-food FMCG. Due to an ambitious growth strategy, they are looking recruit a UK Head of Sales.

The Role:

  • Reporting directly to the Group Commercial Director you will be responsible for growing the company’s revenues throughout the UK by targeting primarily the Variety Retail Market.
  • You will lead a large sales team to meet turnover targets and achieve strong commercial performance on both tendered and negotiated new business.
  • Whilst the Variety Retail Market will be your priority, you will develop a strategy for the entry into new markets within the retail space and work closely with your Sales and
  • Marketing teams to implement this strategy efficiently.

The Person:

  • Ideally of graduate calibre, you will have a proven track record of successfully growing revenues within the FMCG sector through Variety and Grocery Retail channels.
  • You have had experience of managing large sales teams at ‘Head of’ / Director level.
  • You have demonstrated your ability to grow revenues within FMCG markets and you have experience of building strong working commercial relationships with blue-chip customers.
