Business Systems Manager - Lead the Business Systems team (IT Applications and Data) to deliver and support an enhanced and efficient business systems environment, which is fully integrated, has effective controls and provides insightful reporting to enable the Group to achieve its strategic objectives.

Measures of sucess:

• Applications environment is stable, secured and properly governed
• User satisfaction - meeting the needs of the business identified by specific project objectives
• Create a collaborative culture; support a culture of collaboration across the IT department but also with the business/operation teams
• Number of business processes stabilised and not requiring any more manual intervention
• Help the business to become a data-centred company
• Agreed project objectives and delivery to plans and budgets

IT Application Management

• Ensure that business applications are reliable, consistent, secured and properly managed from a governance perspective
• Control the on-going business systems cost budget, clearly explaining any actual variances and recommend cost savings/reallocations
• Introduce a structured and responsive approach to user requests relating to business systems development/enhancement

Strategy & Planning

• Regularly assess the existing business systems environment in light of new and alternative systems/products/processes and liaise with internal and external experts to make improvement recommendations for incorporation in the annual IT plan and on an ad hoc basis
• Participate in the development of IT strategy, strategic framework and business planning to aid the business in achieving its strategic objectives
• Collaborate with FR (France) IT Manager to integrate further the UK and French business systems to improve the consistency of the Group's business systems environment
• Defining a corporate data strategy aiming to improve the existing reporting system as well as anticipating further business requirements in this key area

Profile

Business Systems Manager

Essential Experience/Skills:

• Demonstrable communication, collaboration and people management skills
• Self-motivated and proactive with good organisational skills
• Pragmatic person and highly focused on deliveries and process efficiencies
• Ability to work under pressure knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques
• Proven team management skills, including motivation and development support
• Track record of successful project management and delivery
• Technical IT skill set/finance/CRM/ERP systems knowledge
• Adept at stakeholder management and 3rd party supplier development.
• Ability to interface with business users at all levels
• Handle all recruiting and hiring of upper and of IT business Systems personnel

Desirable:

• Experience in the property and/or retail industry
• Budgetary responsibility

Job Offer:

• £80k to £85k
• Annual bonus based on 35% of salary (39.2% max)
