Brewster Partners, Charity & Not-for-Profit Recruitment, is working in exclusive partnership with Bluebell Wood to recruit a Chief Executive.
After a hugely successful first ten years, the Board of Trustees are looking to appoint a Chief Executive to lead the hospice through the next exciting stage of its development. The Chief Executive will deliver transformative leadership, a clear strategic vision, and promote Bluebell Wood on a local, regional, and national level.
The Board is looking for a CEO/Director with experience within another organisation of comparable size and complexity (preferably within the Charity or Not for Profit sector) to lead Bluebell Wood. To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate that you have led and developed a multi-specialist strategic team through significant change, and have a strong understanding of the governance requirements of charitable organisations.
As Chief Executive you will be accountable to the hospices’ Trustees for all legal and financial compliance, ensure that Bluebell Wood is maximising all income generation opportunities, and is at the forefront of fundraising innovation.
The Chief Executive will need to be an outstanding communicator at all levels, internally and externally, as well as have a track record of forging strong, long-lasting relationships on a local, regional and national platform, and the ability to speak publically with confidence, assurance and passion.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a well-loved organisation through significant change, whilst continually supporting and driving the hospice agenda forwards, making sure every family is supported in the way that they need, and making Bluebell Wood a nationally recognised Centre of Excellence in palliative care.
