Our client is a PE backed leader in their field and seeks a Chief Financial Officer to play a major part in enabling the most out of its sector's significant growth opportunities.

The company has developed strong commercial links with major clients and is in a position to take significant advantage of the growth that's widely anticipated in its sector To ensure the business fulfils its goals and this will be a key appointment in that development. One of the main priorities will be to create the systems that will provide the data needed to ensure that business performance can be accurately and constructively assessed, and to enable the business to be managed more effectively.
  • Delivery of the monthly consolidation and Group reporting for the whole business, acting as the focal point for management reporting to the Board
  • Act as the guardian of precise management reporting and control for the Group
  • Instil financial rigour, process and control
  • Engage and deliver on all tax, governance and policy, treasury and planning maters
  • Develop, communicate and ensure compliance with best practice financial policies and procedures
  • Lead and evolve the financial budgeting and forecasting process
  • Manage year end processes
  • Contribute to the emerging Internal Audit programme in relation to financial controls
  • Actively manage cash management and cash performance

Attention to the immediate and the long term are simultaneously important, so the importance of today's issues will need to be balanced with a real grasp of strategic planning and development.

Candidates will need to demonstrate the required financial skills and be used to the standards, processes and levels of communication expected by fast moving businesses. Above all, they'll have a passion for team building and working closely with colleagues in actively providing the information and perspectives that are essential in improving performance and seizing operational development opportunities.
