Our client is a contractor supplying specialised services to the oil & gas sectors
Role and Responsibilities
The interim Contracts Manager will manage the existing contracts with various raw material suppliers and will also be responsible for service contracts such as transportation to ports in Scandinavia, as well as warehousing.
Due to additional demand new agreements must be made with the suppliers. It is essential that the raw materials are available in line with demand at factory end and that there are no delays.
The interim Contracts Manager will be responsible for a broad range of cradle to grave contractual actions across the company's locations, supporting all contract, subcontract, pre-award, and other related activities and will manage the day-to-day actions as well as escalating to leadership as appropriate.
Duties will include participation in proposal preparation, coordination of pre-award contractual documentation (such as teaming and non-disclosure agreements), issuing subcontractor RFPs, executing small business compliance requirements, including both pre-award and post-award activities.
This is an interim contract for a minimum of 6 months, and is based in North Germany. The rate will be 800 Euros per day plus expenses.
The Desired Applicant
The interim Contracts Manager must meet the following requirements of the client:
- Have 3+ years of experience fully managing (including leading negotiations) of all contract types and agreements (TAs, NDAs, Subcontracts). Experience with English Contract Law is essential
- Significant government contracting experience (to include but not limited to, review of RFPs for compliance matrix, business book or technical writing, subcontractor negotiations, contract set-up in accounting systems, issue resolution of contract management execution, audit preparation, and close-out)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Experience with pipelines or comparable supplies an advantage
- Fluency in German not a requirement but also an advantage
