Our client, a leading big four consultancy is looking to identify talented NHS individuals to work on a large-scale transformation project in Saudi Arabia, in line with their healthcare vision 2030. These opportunities will be suitable for people who have worked at an equivalent band 9 level and above.

Saudi Arabia's healthcare system has benefited from substantive investment in recent decades. The public sector is focusing on improving hospital operational performance and promoting preventative care; encouraging the use of primary care as a first step. In line with their vision they are keen to bring on NHS expertise to focus on large scale hospital improvement and primary care performance.

Successful candidates will have previously been responsible for the following:

  • Delivering hospital improvement & efficiency plans
  • Redesign of 'first class' hospital services
  • Setting clinical standards and patient-centred targets across the organisation
  • Deployment of multiple large-scale, complex and high-risk programmes
  • Ensuring the patients clinical pathways are in line with best international clinical practice
  • Managing Programme timelines and resources to deliver against aggressive timelines and quality expectations
  • Building key stakeholder relationships and coaching change
  • Large scale primary care development
  • Collaboration and integration between health and social care

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous operational management or service improvement experience within a hospital or primary care setting
  • Previous experience at leading and developing operational teams across the UK or internationally
  • The ability to work with numerous stakeholders at all levels internationally and embrace the culture for the role required
  • Experience of working in any of the following areas, theatres/outpatients/emergency flow/diagnostics or specific clinical specialities
  • Arabic Language skills a distinct advantage or previous experience of working somewhere in the Middle East
  • Availability from June 2019 for on 3 months cycles - up to 2 years possibility if required
