Description

Our Greater Manchester based global client is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Business Transformation to design and lead on this highly strategic organisational change programme.

As the Head of Business Transformation, you will own and direct the execution of a range of transformational programmes and planning activities; providing programme oversight, guidance and leadership. Working directly with a range of internal stakeholders and external consultants, the Head of Business Transformation will work across the organisation to create a cohesive change strategy, and develop change work-streams that will maximise company and employee's change readiness and adoption of those strategies. They will:-

• Lead on the delivery of transformational change, with specific focus on maximising impact and enabling the business to grow and innovate;
• Drive stakeholder engagement, management and communications;
• Monitor and report overall progress, including managing exceptions, slippage and issues of priority and initiate corrective actions, as appropriate;
• Be accountable for co-coordinating activities and inter-dependencies, managing risk and ensuring a holistic view is taken;
• Ensure that financial controls are maintained throughout;
• Promote the business vision with a benefit framework that links adoption of change to successful business outcomes;
• Prepare for change by assessing the magnitude of change and the organisation's change readiness;
• Work with HR to support behavioural change. This process may involve redesigning jobs and defining new behavioural competencies and performance metrics;
• Promote and provides ongoing coaching and mentoring about change management practices to senior leadership and stakeholder managers to increase their effectiveness in driving sustainable change.

Profile

To be successful in your application, you must demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• Significant experience of designing and leading a blend of complex technology and non-technology enabled business transformation projects;
• Experience of working within consumer goods and / or distribution;
• Proven Organisational Change experience;
• Experience of leading cross-functional transformation programmes within a Pan-European organisation;
• Demonstrable experience in working with diverse teams and cultures;
• Experience of implementing shared services and outsourcing;
• Proven stakeholder management at all levels up to C-Suite;
• Experience with and deep knowledge of change management methodologies, approaches and tools;
• Professional Project Management qualifications;
• Any additional European languages would be beneficial.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach others as well as able to work on own initiative;
• Strong at financial control, process management and programme governance;
