Senior Data Architect - Management Consultant

Up to £115K base + bonus + benefits, location: London with UK travel

Superb opportunity for an experienced Senior Data Architect to join my IT consultancy client to work in their team of delivery focussed consultants, engineers and analysts that specialise in delivering leading edge data architecture and data analytics projects to a wide variety of clients in various sectors with a focus on the Banking, Financial Services, Energy & Retail verticals.

You will work with other members of staff in advanced analytical methods and engage with clients to develop user cases and user stories, build analytical processes and codes to meet client expectations and requirements, also providing best practice consultancy advice of Data Architecture and Data Analytics technologies and solutions.

You will be able to demonstrate most of the following skills in:

• Experience of working in a client-facing capacity as part of a consulting team (essential);
• Prior experience of delivering complex engagements either as a leader or a senior member of a team;
• Experience of full delivery life cycle coupled with the ability to deliver significant impact, quickly;
• Proven ability to develop strong relationships and be able to influence colleagues, senior client stakeholders, partners, suppliers;
• Demonstrable knowledge of delivering business value to clients through IT.

Key Requirements Technical knowledge and experience:

• It is essential that you display expertise in at least one and experience with at least two of the below data-related areas, gained ideally within Technology Consulting:
• Data Visualisation and Reporting
• Data Analysis and Data Engineering
• Data Project Management
• Platform Engineering
• Cloud Architecture
• Hands-on experience across a range of data related tools & technologies such as SQL, VBA, Python, R, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire and PowerBI;
• Experience of delivering complex data centric solutions at scale;
• Good understanding data modelling methodologies, security and governance applicable in Big Data environments.
