Job Details
Our client, a Local Authority in London, is currently looking for an interim Fire Safety Specialist for an 18 month long assignment.
The Fire Safety Specialist will be responsible for both quality assurance and onsite validations.
The quality assurance part of the assignment will be to check and correct the Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) reports from the assigned contractor. The onsite validations part will be to check all FRA actions/works carried out by the contractors and produce any applicable documentation and reports.
The successful candidate will have:
- Recognised Fire Safety Qualifications
- Extensive technical knowledge from within a housing background
- Expertise in FRAs
- Experience of remedial fire works to housing stock
Please note this role will fall in scope of IR35.
