Our client is a Business Services organisation who require a dynamic Finance Director to provide strong functional and financial leadership to the Finance and IT teams based in both their UK and overseas offices.

You will be tasked with driving change across the function, including raising the capability of Finance and IT teams, ensuring effective and efficient processes and supporting systems are in place to ensure that all objectives and time-lines are met.

You will also provide direction and support to the IT team to ensure development of IT Infrastructure that will support the delivery of the company's Global Strategy in a secure, efficient and cost-effective manner.

Key Deliverables:

  • Lead and control the annual business planning and budgeting process
  • Provide financial analysis, reporting and guidance on strategy, plans and Global performance at business and departmental levels.
  • Provide accurate and timely monthly reporting, forecasting and planning to support decision making at operational and strategic levels.
  • Ensure financial and IT systems are robust, compliant and able to support current activities and future developments
  • Accountable for the annual audit and Financial accounts through to appropriate Governance sign-off and regulatory compliance
  • Strong advisory role in all Corporate projects to ensure appropriate management of spend and forward financial commitments
  • Direct and develop the staff of the directorate to ensure that they are appropriately motivated, trained and are working towards the achievement of the company's Finance objectives and the overall business plan

The Individual:

  • ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified
  • Solid International experience
  • Have a high level of experience in International financial management and budget setting
  • Strong team management, people development and an inspirational leader
  • Experience directing an IT team along with managing & reviewing of IT strategies
  • Effective Communicator and presenter up to Board level.
  • Board/Senior Leadership Team level leadership experience
