Head of Manufacturing - Pharmaceuticals - Devon
Salary: ??70,000 - ??80,000 + Pension & Relocation allowance
Travel: 95% of the time will be spent in the office, but travel can be expected when meeting new Customers/Suppliers.
An exciting opportunity for a Head of Manufacturing has become available in Devon for a leading Pharmaceuticals Manufacturer and Contract Manufacturing Organisation. They have been operating for over 35 Years. The business operates with the Pharmaceuticals field, however they are willing to look at individuals from the following backgrounds: Electronics, Medical Devices, FMCG as well as Pharmaceuticals as long as the candidate can demonstrate a strong ability to lead teams and have a technical/manufacturing background.
The main focus of the role is to be the focal point for any manufacturing related issues across the business and lead a high performing team consisting of 80 reports (4 direct) thorough change and continuous improvement.
Working within Regulated Quality standards are a key part of this business, so you will be expected to be able to continue to help the business adhere to this.
A key part of this position is leadership, the incoming individual will have spent a minimum of 5 years leading high performing teams and implementing continuous improvement within this.
The role will also require a portion of time to be spent assisting with New Product Introduction and New Product Development
- Ability to lead and drive forwards continuous improvement projects
- Manufacturing/Engineering background
- Ideally an understanding of Pharmaceuticals/Medical Devices
- Working in a highly Regulated industry
- Clear demonstration of leading large teams successfully
- Track record of NPI/NPD
