Core responsibilities will include (but not limited to); Drive and manage the creation, approval, development, and implementation of prioritized data quality requirements for key programs Collaborate across GBGFs and IT teams to ensure accurate, agreed-upon data quality controls are developed and delivered Manage and oversee the implementation of the DQ SOP providing guidance and assistance on best practices, next steps, and template usage Oversee the data mapping from system or logical data elements to the HBIM, the HSBC Global Conceptual data model, as well as the coordination of modelling work & the publication of data elements Work with US HOST to ensure DQ measurement toolsets are of the appropriate capacity and capability to meet business requirements (e.g. Transactional and Consistency DQ) Produce monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of GBM CDO status for executive reporting and ensure the quality and accuracy of Data quality in the data governance tools Qualifications & Experience Essential: Prior experience with data quality measurement for large financial institutions Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency Knowledge and experience of data management and measurement tools, such as Collibra, Data lake, and QlikView Desired: Knowledge and experience of Data Management principals and their practical application Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to build a collaborative and constructive partnership with relevant project teams and/or SMEs for content development. Good understanding of the Group and the GBM business, including products, services, systems and processes, also sales process and the relationship management model Good understanding of value generation in GBM, its economic model and strategy Experience of managing and delivering cross-functional programmes Knowledge of the changing regulatory environment especially in the financial services sector. Directly relevant analytical experience within financial services or an alternative data driven organization leaders Navigating - understanding and translating Change Delivery objectives and aligning directions accordingly Aspiring - being ambitious about providing the highest standards of delivery Driving - setting stretching goals for self and teams and delivering them with courage and tenacity Mobilizing - authentically engaging with team, colleagues and business partners to deliver at pace Sustaining - making considered decisions that protect and enhance HSBC values, reputation and business
