Head of Compliance - Bermuda
With significant changes to the Bermudan regulatory regime, a new Head of Compliance is required to significantly enhance and improve the current compliance function. The successful candidate will be expected to: Significantly enhance the Compliance Monitoring and Assurance Program covering all lines of regulated business. This will include formulating an annual plan, conducting the appropriate tests, report, and track any issues that arise. Ensure the business maintain awareness of all incoming regulatory/compliance developments and asses any impact to the business that may occur due to changing regulation. Act as a central point of reference and expertise on compliance - related matters. Provide proactive regulatory support to all business lines about compliance matters in connection with both existing and new business relationships. Act as main point of contact for all Anti - Money Laundering issues that affect the day to date operation of the firm Promote the highest ethical standards required of staff and ensure staff meet the requirements of the Compliance Manual, Code of Ethics, Group Guidelines and the relevant regulatory rules. Provide on-going Training and Education to all levels of staff in relation to compliance and financial crime. Having knowledge of FATCA, CRS and UK CDOT as this role will be responsible for ensuring proper reporting. Diverse knowledge of Private Banking, Trusts, Corporate Service Provider, Custody.
