Job Details

A new and exciting opportunity to join one of the most forward-thinking Local  Authorities in London as a junior project manager supporting a major piece of transformation work on an on-going basis.

We are looking for someone with previous project experience - in any corporate environment - who has a real interest in project delivery and change, and has a good academic background, a strong work ethic and a desire to progress.

Over the coming months you will work with a small number of senior managers and a Director to help co-ordinate and deliver against a variety of  objectives forming part of a wider programme of work designed to help  the Council deliver its core services and  help make the borough a positive, supportive place for residents.

The subject matter of the projects broadly include cultural change, and there is also likely to be involvement in the exciting regeneration work planned for the local area.

You’ll have demonstrated good project management experience before, either as part of a wider programme or potentially within a Project Management Office. Your resumé should outline your achievements and show evidence of progression. You will be able to handle a changing and challenging work load, and have a good understanding of how to manage senior stakeholders with high standards.

Some public sector or regeneration experience might be helpful, but is not essential.

If this sounds like you, please send a CV and covering note today.
