My client, a housing association in London is looking for a highly skilled communicator to undertake an interim assignment for 6 months.
This role is providing senior project support to the head of the fire safety team, which was set up in response to the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
The key focus of the role will include:
- Resident engagement/consultation, in particular consulting on complex issues surround the high risk FRA remedial works that are being carried.
- Providing expertise on strategic programme and project management for these high profile, high value, high risk works projects on several blocks, including removal and replacement of combustible external wall insulation and installation of sprinkler systems.
- Alongside the team head you will be managing and responding to significant political and media attention of the FRA programme.
- You will also be charged with translating technical concepts into reports and communications that are fit for purpose for a range of non-technical stakeholders
It is expected that the individual will have broad knowledge and experience of housing capital projects, although they are not expected to be technically qualified. What is critical is that the individual is a skilled communicator and has a track record in complex resident engagement matters.
