POSITION: Finance Director

Salary: £80,000

Hours: Full Time

Location: West London

DESCRIPTION:

Our client is a growing London based Facilities Management organisation who are currently looking to recruit a hands-on, motivated, commercial and detail-oriented Finance Director to join their business.

The Finance Director will be responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of the business and will cover a broad spectrum of responsibilities across the Finance Department. This will include, leading a team to ensure the business is provided with insightful and value-added financial analysis to support commercial decision making. The successful individual will be a key business partner to the Senior Management team and will have direct interaction with key account customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Finance Director, you will have responsibility for:

• Financial and Management Reporting
  • Design and development on monthly and year to date management and financial accounting packs
  • WIP reporting
  • KPI and dashboard implementation for P&L metrics, WC, DBO
• Cash and risk management
  • Managing ongoing banking relationships
  • Monitor cash flow and cash flow forecasting
• Business Partnering
  • Report on contract wins and losses to support the Business Development activities
  • Design and support customer contract P&L's for review with the Operations team
• Customer Reporting
  • Key Customer Account monthly and quarterly reporting
  • FP&A activity for customers
• Leadership of the Finance Department
  • Ensure the finance department delivers the highest standard of customer service to the business
  • Ensure all financial policies are clearly communicated across the business
  • Develop finance and accounting team goals that are fully aligned to the business objectives

Key Skills

In order to be successful in this role you will ideally:

• Have proven experience gained within the Service sector (FM/Utilities) with a hands-on approach and track record of management reporting, budgeting, cash management, cost reduction and the design, development and implementation of reporting
• Excellent man-management and leadership skills
• Excellent skills in building relationships and developing partnerships across multiple stakeholders
• Ability to interact and operate across multi-functional teams
• An excellent communicator with the ability to confidently engage with customers, employees and other external partners
• Self-starter with ability to push back
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office suite with the ability to produce presentations, analyse and report on data and make recommendations
• Flexible and hands on approach
