Finance Transformation Programme Director

An exceptional opportunity for a Programme Director to spearhead a complex 2-3 year Finance Transformation Programme in The Midlands. You will be accountable for assessing and developing their Finance Function. As well as delivering on multiple finance projects and focusing on driving continuous improvement to existing systems, you will need to deliver an ERP implementation.

To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to have:

• Be able to demonstrate experience leading Finance Transformation Programmes in highly complex environments.
• A finance background (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or have worked on finance transformation programmes and therefore possess a deep understanding of finance processes & systems.
• Experience leading and resourcing teams which need to be scaled up and down dependent on the project deliverables.
• Demonstrable experience delivering large-scale finance projects including an ERP implementation & transitioning SSC activity.
• Strong technical understanding of cloud-based ERP systems.

A little more information about the roles:

• You will need to support the organisation whilst they move away from their existing SSC provider and transfer the bulk of the activity back inhouse and onto their system.
• Due to this, you will need to manage the transition of this, drive continuous improvement to ensure best practice as well as efficiency and deliver an upgrade on the ERP system.
• You will need to build a team to support the delivery of this programme, manage them to tight deadlines and ensure as little business disruption as possible.
• Effectively manage the exit from the existing SSC provider, manage the transfer of activities and map out and prioritise the backlog as well as gaps.
• You will manage multiple projects at a time.
