Eton Bridge Partners has successfully placed a number of highly skilled and experienced procurement transformation professionals in a range of FTSE 250 clients and due to demand from the market, is pleased to announce the launch of its own dedicated Operations, Procurement & Supply Chain practice.
We have an immediate need for commercially astute procurement leads with specific experience of developing best practice procurement functions within highly changing business environments; preferably PE backed businesses or the like.
The role will involve:
- Assessing the current processes, policies and contracts to identify quick wins and opportunities for strategic enhancement
- Acting as sole operational procurement professional whilst leading the recruitment for a fit-for-purpose procurement team
- Enhancing the perception of procurement internally and externally by engaging appropriately with stakeholders and the market
- Renegotiating key contracts across a range of indirects and specifically related to hard and soft FM
- Developing the procurement strategy and an implementation plan
The successful candidate will:
- Have a strong track record of turning around failing procurement functions, or creating right sized procurement functions from scratch
- Have excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills with evidence of improving tense relations
- Preferably have worked in a consultancy environment
- Have had experience in interim management previously
- Have the ability to work at tactical and strategic procurement levels
- Have broad category experience across indirects including hard and soft FM
