Finance Director

The Opportunity:

I am partnering with a Private Equity-backed hospitality business who are looking to hire a first time Finance Director. After being invested in at the latter part of last year, they are rapidly expanding – and plan to continue to grow via acquisition and organic growth. They currently have 10 sites operating across the UK and are achieving a turnover of £25m in line with their strategic plan, which will be doubled within three years.

The role itself will involve working in close partnership with the MD, COO and Chairman. Subsequently, it is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for great exposure and wants a long-term, hands-on position in a high-growth, ambitious company.

The Role:

• Outlining financial objectives – budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
• Presenting to the board (monthly P&L, CF and BS)
• Offering commercial insight for decision making and strategic planning
• Setting weekly and monthly KPIs
• Managing the audit process and acting in accordance with IFRS
• Preparing statutory accounts
• Helping to drive the 3-5-year strategic plan

The Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
• Previous experience of working in a multi-site environment.
• Previous exposure of working for a PE-backed business is advantageous.
