Our client is a multi £billion global PLC at the forefront of this rapidly changing industry. Currently undergoing a major period of transformation, there is a need to hire a highly experienced Group Financial Controller, reporting to the Board. This is a very significant hire who will actively contribute to the future growth of the business.
The individual will own and lead all technical, FP&A, Corporate Finance and Risk functions. As time goes by, there may be scope to add further responsibilities to the role.
The candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA preferable) who is technically and commercially astute. The candidate will need experience of leading a disparate finance function through a major transformation. Either Group Finance or Divisional Finance Director experience is key (provided there is sufficient and up to date technical knowledge). The jobholder will have regular exposure to the Board including the Audit Chair, so strong leadership qualities with a high level of EQ are essential.
