Investment Director

Axon Moore is exclusively recruiting an ambitious Investment Director for a successful North West loan and equity finance provider. Investing in entrepreneurial SMEs across all sectors, the business has an established regional footprint and is keen to continue to develop its presence in the North West market.

The role will play a leading part in the deal process from origination and appraisal, to completion and post investment support. The role is commercial in nature and the successful candidate will be expected to play a key part in helping the firm achieve its long-term strategic objectives.

The Investment Director will be responsible for sourcing deals and representing the fund in the wider business community, building the brand and driving business development. They will be required to drive new investment opportunities, have overall responsibility for meeting investment targets and assist with any future fundraising.

The role requires an experienced dealmaker with a track record of delivering successful equity investments. Ideally this experience will be within in a lending/private equity environment, but the client is open to considering a high calibre individual with strong investment/deal making credentials within a commercial M&A environment.

The successful candidate will be bright, tenacious and possess the gravitas, drive and interpersonal skills to build strong, influential relationships with investment target management teams, portfolio businesses, third party advisors and internal stakeholders.
