£200m t/o, PE-Backed, UK Media Business

Background of Assignment:

The executive management team require a seasoned Interim CFO from PE to support them through a crucial period to trading. You will work closely with the Board on all matters relating to the business and guide them on clear decision making (Commercial, Strategic, Performance, Business Planning, Risk and M&A). In addition, you will ultimately be responsible for core disciplines of finance (Financial Control, Tax, Treasury, FP&A etc) ensuring robust reporting and absolute certainty on the numbers delivered.

Candidate Description:

Candidates will need to demonstrate their track record as a board level Interim CFO, operating within PE and having worked with multiple businesses of similar size, scale and complexity, delivering successful turnaround/business solutions. You will need to have a core background in finance and accountancy vs the path of non-finance, banking or strategy/corporate finance and having worked for organisations that are digitally advanced in their methods of engaging with the end consumer is advantageous.
