Salary: up to £100,000 Plus pension, bonus and great benefits

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a diverse experience in property and retail to join a reputable and growing property group!

Role Purpose: To lead, drive and be accountable for the performance of the allocated portfolio of assets including the day to day leasing of 1 asset. Maintain and generate revenue from Shopping Centres by building customer and internal relationships, managing leasing lifecycles, and ensuring the highest possible reputation of the group. Effectively lead, manage and motivate the team working closely with other SLMs and UK Leasing Director to ensure portfolio strategy is aligned.

Maximising & Generating New Income

Ensure that revenue is maximised for the allocated portfolio of Shopping Centres in order to minimise voids and risk units. Liaise with the Asset team to align with their strategies and Business Plans. Manage the team to ensure revenue from all retailers is maximised.

Achieve income targets through effective direction of all leasing activities across the allocated portfolio. Support business strategy to grow income.

Manage the Leasing Lifecyle

Lead and manage the team to deliver the leasing lifecycle (new lettings, renewals and rent reviews) from early interest through negotiation of Heads of Terms to lease execution & completion. Provide accurate financial forecasts for Business Planning. Recommend the appointment of letting agents and other letting consultants. Contribute to new leasing models and maximise the use of Hammerson standard terms.

Manage Retailer Relationships

Working with the UK Leasing Director, take accountability for retailer relationships and set the best possible example for customer relationship management. Use these relationships to deliver better, faster deals and create a sustainable platform for revenue growth. This should include an understanding of the retailers' business strategy and model.

Lead & Manage Team (Internal and External)

Manage the performance of direct reports; create a positive and supportive environment for knowledge transfer, teamwork, personal and career development so that direct reports are engaged; skilled and appropriately and efficiently deployed. Manage external teams of letting professionals and suppliers.
