They are recognised as a market leader and have had an impressive and consistent period of increased revenue. They are a couple of years in to an ambitious project to build themselves a new technology based operations platform, which will allow them to scale up their business and hopefully continue their recent path of growth.

The role:

Based in central Edinburgh, the CTO will be tasked with ensuring the strategic oversight of this large scale IT change programme and further embedding your vision for technical growth within this organisation. You will be highly involved in evaluating and planning for the future direction of their IT strategy, working closely with the Board of Directors and other senior leaders.

Who would this role suit?

I am open to discussing this role with either experienced CTO's or someone who is looking to take the next step up in their career. You'll definitely need to come from a software development background, preferably having been involved in building highly scalable technology solutions that meet the needs of a growing business. You should also have a strong understanding of digital and mobile platforms.

My client is looking to evaluate and/or implement some interesting technologies within their technical stack (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS etc). They want to find someone who is passionate about keeping up to date with emerging technologies and how they could be leveraged within a business, to improve operational systems and processes.
