Fantastic opportunity working within the public sector as Head of Informatics. My client is seeking an individual with the following experience.

• In depth knowledge/experience of Acute and Community reporting requirements - external (e.g. RTT, Cancer waiting times, etc)
• Experience of developing an information strategy for community/acute: e.g. experience of developing insightful indicators - providing meaningful, useful information to users - at different levels. You'd expect a hierarchical business intelligence reporting structure where department's reports feed up to divisions feeds up to trust level - and it all adds up.
• Understanding of standard data items, commissioning datasets, the derivation of HRGs.
• Data quality monitoring and reporting.
• Managing information analyst and database teams - to produce timely, accurate, complete information, plus all the standard HR requirements of team/person mgt.
• Ability to engage with users/customers, especially at senior level, to understand their requirements. Experience of reporting to senior management/Board level.
• Good understanding of IG requirements - e.g. IG Toolkit, what they can and cannot do with data, anonymization requirements.
• Management and leadership of technical staff
