My client is an International Media company based in Central London. The company are looking for an experienced Finance Director to lead their team and help continue their growth on an interim basis. My client are a truly global player in the media sector, producing quality content across various areas including magazine publishing, television and many more. The company are synonymous with quality within the media sector, operating numerous house hold name brands within their respected fields. The Finance Director will hold a position of serious responsibility and sit on the senior Board. The successful candidate will be fully qualified and have prior media experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing a finance team
  • Setting detailed company-wide budgets
  • Overseeing project work and setting ad-hoc budgets for productions
  • Creating extensive mid and long term forecast models
  • Charge of the monthly and quarterly reporting functions
  • Forecast cash flow positions of the Group including weekly, annual and long range forecasts.
  • Development and implementation of internal controls and financial procedures
  • Offering financial leadership in developing commercial strategy and business plans
  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders on operational and strategic issues

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • A hardworking and honest individual
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
  • Highly-motivated and pro-active self starter
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Degree not necessary but is preferred
  • Must be fully ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
