Divisional FP&A Manager
My client is one of the largest B2B service providers in the UK. They provide both in-house and consultancy style services to blue chip clients. There has been an internal restructure in the Head Office and an upskilling of the senior management team in the finance function. In turn, we are seeking to recruit a FP&A professional to support a c.£1bn turnover division and drive profitability for the business unit.
The FP&A Manager is responsible for the forecasting and budgeting processes across the business unit, and providing information and associated commentary to the Divisional Leadership team. The key objective is to ensure all available financial and operational data is used to optimise decision making and to deliver detailed analysis and commentary explaining the overall Divisional performance. The role reports into the Divisional Financial Controller and will work closely with the Divisional Finance Director, Divisional Senior Management and the Group Financial Planning & Analysis team.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA / CA / CIMA) with a significant post qualified experience. You will have an excellent academic profile and be highly numerate, with strong financial modelling capabilities. In addition, strong commercial awareness and experience of working in a commercial finance role in industry is crucial. The ideal candidate will be an articulate and confident communicator who is able to understand complex financial data and present summary findings in a high-level, concise format.
