As Sales Director, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the sales strategy, leading the sales team and driving growth in line with business objectives.

Profile

The successful Sales Director will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Proven track record already in a Sales Director / Head of Sales / Sales Controller role from an FMCG background
  • Multi-channel sales experience - multiple retailers, export, e-commerce, wholesale, manufacturing
  • Proven track record in driving sales and business growth
  • Creating and implementing strategy
  • Excellent leadership and change management skills
  • Strong communication skills - presenting, verbal, listening and written
  • Used to working in a fast paced environment
  • Highly aspirational, dynamic and passionate
  • Confident, personable and outgoing individual
  • Ability to influence and persuade at all levels of an organisation, both internal and externally
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Willing to commute to North East England head office majority of the week or be willing to relocate to the region
  • Full UK driving licence
