International Retail Development Director

Our client is a highly successful British Apparel brand with a global presence. To support continued growth across all channels, they are looking to appoint a Retail Development Director to drive their international expansion, particularly throughout the US.

The Role:

• Reporting directly to the CEO you will have full strategic and budgetary responsibility for retail performance and group development on an international scale, with a focus on the US market.
• You will act as a Group figurehead and key contact with international partners.
• You will oversee and have full strategic control over the creation and implementation of the company’s retail store expansion plans internationally.
• You will manage a multi-site operation across the globe and work closely alongside board level peers and third parties to ensure that group targets are achieved.

The Person:

• Of graduate caliber, you will have Retail and eCommerce fulfillment experience and a
• proven track record of increasing performance within a FMCG and multi-channel Retail environment.
• You will have experience in the design and delivery of an international growth strategy and you have previously demonstrated that you can significantly increase retail performance.
• You have excellent communication and presentation skills with the gravitas to represent the board on the ground.
• Experience of retail expansion within the US market is preferable.
