Our client is one of the largest industrial services company, who are now looking to recruit an HR Business Partner, to help drive the business forward and make a real impact. They will be required to cover Scotland and the North of England, reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering and work closely with the Regional Executive Director, for projects, specialist services and off-shore, the ideal person will be in the geographical area.

You will be comfortable as a hands-on HR Operations generalist, providing day to day support and advice to the regional businesses, delivering best practice HR, to achieve business objectives, in a cost effective manner and in line with company policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements. You will also identify areas for further development and instigate a continuous improvement approach.

Possibly from a background in construction, chemical, Oil & Gas or industrial service sectors, you will have a proven track record of working with business leaders to drive and manage change to improve business performance. You will also have well-developed organisational and administrative skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and control your own workload. Also, have the personality and maturity to quickly establish credibility and respect, at all levels and be able to deliver commercial and business value from HR, within a complex business environment, currently undergoing transformational change. 

The individual will be very resilient, commercially astute delivery oriented, experienced in working with trade unions and managing TUPE negotiations, as well as having the ability to build good relationships and deliver results with and through others. You will be a strong and effective communicator, who inspires confidence in senior management and employees and ideally CIPD qualified. You will also be comfortable working under pressure, to challenging timescales and delivering HR solutions, which have real business benefits.
