With revenues in excess of £40 million our client is a well established group engaged in the provision of contracting, construction and projects services to a wide range of customers including house builders. It’s shareholders recent review of its operations and future strategy has resulted in its decision to appoint a Managing Director to through discrete management teams implement and execute the strategy and optimise future performance.

The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of projects and services to its customers ensuring financial targets are met and will assist in the development of future “go to market“ propositions to achieve sales goals, profitability and customer satisfaction. He / she will develop a motivated top team that combines efficiently and effectively in pursuing the profitable growth of the business and will review the annual budgets of the teams and regularly revisit to monitor the progress and performance of the group in relation to budget and plan. Through the executive the individual to be appointed will ensure projects are delivered on time to customers satisfaction at the budgeted margin and will drive a customer - driven culture is firmly embedded in all policies and practices of the group.

The Managing Director to be appointed will be able to demonstrate a record of success in a project management / contracting / facilities management  environment and will ideally have established relationships with house builders He / she will have the gravitas and contacts to investigate and identify new business opportunities, products and services and present them to customers at the highest level . Previous experience of shareholder management, comfort with the banks and external advisors and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment are essential attributes. The individual appointed will be keen to develop his / her teams and will have empathy with the values of a previously owner managed business that has engendered loyalty, integrity and commitment and create a culture that recognises and rewards those values.
