Reporting directly to the CIO the Head of Customer Experience is a crucial role which will be responsible for not only ensuring the organisations capabilities are enhanced by an innovative and modern approach to systems development but also to ensure the end-to-end journey of the customer is faultless and enjoyable. You will be joining a friendly, driven and ambitious department who are always looking for ways to improve.

The ideal Head of Customer Experience will have the following Skills/Experience:

  • Experience of driving agile and creating a truly agile culture
  • Track record of delivering successful customer experience focused projects/improvements
    • Ecommerce/retail or logistics is ideal – from online order to physical delivery
  • Faultless stakeholder management skills. The ability to get not only the C-level executives on board with your vision but also your peers
  • Experience of innovative methods such as design thinking
  • Demonstrable experience of coaching and mentoring an entire organisation to work together in design thinking and an agile approach
  • A creative mind to inspire and drive an energetic team to do better and continuously improve.
  • Experience of transitioning teams to a DevOps environment is desirable

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Be responsible creating an agile culture
  • Be familiar with many approaches to Agile, EA, Design Thinking and Systems Thinking
  • Advise and coach on all matters relating to the development and execution of the companies systems roadmap
  • Be commercially aware in shaping and implementing the agile and design thinking capability
  • Own the execution all end to end to solutions for demand systems
  • Work closely with technology partners to continuously improve service
