Head of Operations/Manufacturing

Our client is a well-established sheet metal fabrication manufacturing business with an excellent reputation for the delivery of bespoke made to client specification orders. They wish to appoint a Head of Operations to develop and implement the manufacturing and supply chain strategies, ensuring operational goals exceed customer expectations for product, quality, cost and delivery.

The Role:

• The Head of Operations is responsible for the performance of the production & supply chain functions of the company, reporting directly into the Managing Director.
• To develop the strategic operating plans that reflect the longer-term objectives and priorities.
• Deliver continuous improvement in people and processes driving towards sustainable operational excellence.

The Person:

• Ideally degree educated in an Engineering or Technical discipline with a strong operational manufacturing background.
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers.

You will be commercially and financial astute with experience of managing budgets and capable of influencing at a strategic level.
