Job Details
Our client is a well-established sheet metal fabrication manufacturing business with an international reputation for supplying high quality, made to customer specification, products. They wish to appoint a Head of Engineering to further compliment their senior managerial team.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for the strategic planning for all engineering and new product development activities, driving outstanding performance from the engineering team.
- To drive technology initiatives and investments, delivering product integrity, maintaining through life performance to the specifications.
- Evaluate product line extensions, modifications or engineering solutions requested from the sales team or external customers.
The Person:
- Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant mechanical/technical engineering discipline.
- A strong technical background in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development. Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.
- You will be capable of delivering the concept, implementation and introduction of competitive products that exceed customer
- expectations.
