Job Details

My client is in the financial services sector and is looking for a risk, governance and controls manager who will be dedicated to a transformation programme but sit within risk.

The role will involve:

  • Identifying the programme implementation risks and providing robust governance and controls
  • Working with a number of third parties during the lifespan of the programme and managing the third party risks
  • Being prepared and confident to work with third parties and be prepared to challenge if required
  • Providing and delivering information on risk and governance to the Board in an articulate manner, both written and oral
  • Managing the risks when the programme moves into BAU
  • Providing an appropriate level of governance and controls
  • Exceptional stakeholder management

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Have worked as the risk, governance and controls person on a large programme
  • Could be a PMO with a strong risk bias
  • Have created a risk model for a large programme
  • Have worked in large and small organisations
