Job Details
Our client is a leading privately-owned British retail group who have enjoy huge success in recent times. They are looking to appoint a retail director for the first time as they enter a new phase of growth.
The Role:
- Reporting directly to the CEO and a key member of the senior strategy team you will enjoy full responsibility for store performance and group development/ further growth in the UK.
- Will design and deliver national and regional growth targets and lead a team with 7 direct reports.
- Will work closely alongside board level peers to ensure business growth plans are achieved.
The Person:
- Ideally degree educated you will have a proven track record in the UK retail sector with the ability to prove you can increase commercial performance on a multisite / national stage.
- Previous experience in the design and delivery of a national growth strategy would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the gravitas to represent the board on the ground.
