Head of Devops - Cloudera Hadoop Programme

Based in the North West - Travel Expected

£750 a day plus expenses - Initial 6 Month Contract, extensions Expected.

We are working with a Large UK Consultancy who are urgently looking for a Head of Devops with Cloudera / Hadoop experience to lead the Programme Team on the implementation of Big Data solutions supporting a large scale digital transformation programme.

Required experience and skills:

• Previous experience in a similar Leadership team in a Devops environment
• experience in large scale Cloudera Hadoop implementations
• experience in defining DevOps solutions supporting Big Data programmes utilising wide range of technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
• experience in cloud based, multi-tenant, federated architecture
• good knowledge of Cloudera Hadoop distribution
• CCA administrator certification will be beneficial
• any experience with Hortonworks will be an advantage
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)

This is an Urgent requirement so immediate start is a must. In return the client will offer a starting day rate of at least £750 for 6 months.
