You will be responsible for:
- Manage the members of the equities/commodities department.
- Recruit team members with the assistance of HR and Procurement. In particular, the selection of external resources.
- Ensure permanent coordination with the company, providing external services.
- Periodically report to the CTO to progress the work undertaken by your teams
- Identify and monitor common and individual objectives for the entire team (internal and external staff).
- Organise the work of the team by planning the use of resources.
- Participate in the preparation of the clusters annual budget and ensure its follow-up over the year.
- Be the preferred interlocutor of the product area as part of the alignment between their strategy and IT roadmap, monitoring the portfolio of cluster projects and monitoring the stability of the associated IT.
- Identifying the IT issues in the interests of the product area.
Management of the roadmap:
- Conduct in strong interaction with the Business Lines, and the construction of an annual IT project/
roadmap.
- Pilot the execution of the defined roadmap, interacting with suppliers.
- Project delivery management: secure the success of projects undertaken by the cluster on all dimensions involved: costs, quality, deadlines.
- Guarantee stability of IT linked to the functional scope of the equities and commodities area.
- Interact with the IT production division and the suppliers.
- Identify relevant technological opportunities for the business line in interaction with the IT Architecture & Strategy cluster.
Skills Required:
- Bac +5, engineering school or university specialized in computer science, with a minimum experience of 15 years in information systems.
- Has a good control of the environment of the financial markets.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to manage a team, be attentive and open-minded.
- Qualities of analysis and synthesis, autonomy, availability and reactivity. Short trips abroad are possible.
Must Have:
- Fluent in both English and French
- Experience in Financial Markets (OTC products, Front Office systems, Risk)
- Significant experience in conducting agile projects is strongly desired.
