Head of Service - Practice Improvement Programme

I am recruiting for a Head of Service for a Local Authority in the Berkshire area. This is part of a Practice Improvement Program across the Children's Services. In this role, you will be part of the Children's Service Management Team and you will report directly into the Deputy Director Children's Social Care.

You will ensure that higher quality social work practice interventions and improved outcomes will make a significant contribution to managing the demand on statutory services. You will also be responsible for the delivery of our learning and training offer to Managers and Social work staff.

Please apply if you have are a senior manager - Service Manager, Head of Service, AD, and if you have experience in service improvement (Children Social Care services). You must also have a Social Work Degree and a HCPC registration.
