Interim Head of Finance - Product & Technology - 4 months+ - London - £500pd -£700pd

Np Group are partnered with a household brand name technology company that are going through a period of great change. Our client is seeking a commercial Head of Finance to support their Product & Technology function during a period of great change within the business. Technology is the driving force behind this business and investment and operations are critical to assure their competitive position.

Working together with the client's Product & Technology Officer and the Leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the commercial finance agenda. You will be responsible for producing, developing and maintaining budgets and forecasts for the centrally administered technology expenditure, analyse business data relating to commercial activities and report back to all key internal stakeholders with respect to performance against budget. In addition, you will ensure all the commercial activities meet and improve on budget and forecasting throughout the year.

Alongside the Commercial Finance Director and Product & Technology Officer, you will help create the product and technology strategy plans, construct long-term financial models and identify and set long term commercial plans and priorities. You will also be responsible for the development of KPI's and key objectives to support the execution of the product and technology strategy.

From a finance perspective, you will take the lead on building relationships with 3rd party technology suppliers (hardware) and help develop the technology supplier strategy with the technology leadership team and establish new major commercial relationships.

As part of the drive for change, you will also be tasked with developing and maintaining an improved set of financial and accounting processes and controls and help build a positive culture between the business and finance team.

You will be a qualified accountant with post qualified, in-house commercial experience coupled with exceptional stakeholder management and ability to deliver fast-moving, results driven environment.

You should be able to demonstrate strong commercial management and supplier negotiation experience and demonstrate your engagement with international suppliers of technology and associated technology platforms. Experience in the e-commerce marketplace is highly beneficial.

You should clearly demonstrate your ability to build long term relationships with in-house leadership teams and external suppliers along with a proven track record of influencing decision makers and driving business improvement.
