My client now has a two urgent vacancies for a Business Manager (Fixed Term Contract). These are interim until 30th June 2019. Sitting within my client's new business team, there roles are responsible for the delivery of specific highly complex transformational projects for clients. These roles are home based anywhere in England with UK travel involved.

Description

Sitting within my client's new business team, there Business Manager (Fixed Term Contract) roles are responsible for the delivery of specific highly complex transformational projects for clients.

You will be part of a dedicated new business service to a range of clients as part of the organisation's service portfolio. This core team lead the development of the New Business, prepare bids and undertake highly complex assignments across the country. Managing NHS transformation and QIPP agenda is a key objective, embracing performance improvement, innovation and change management within patient facing and support functions.

The New Business team will interact with other staff to ensure there is capacity available to meet assignments; be proactive in identifying new business opportunities; and be aware of all potential NECS service developments to meet the evolving picture of health and social care.

Profile

The successful Business Manager (Fixed Term Contract) will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Proven track record managing the life cycle of an engagement project with a client.
  • Programme management experience working in or on public sector and government projects.
  • Experience of managing multiple complex projects to a successful conclusion.
  • Ability to forge long-term working partnerships with individuals and groups from internal and external departments and organisations.
  • Experience in managing key elements of transformational projects.
  • Ability to demonstrate an informed interest in projects and complex problem solving in the NHS or public sector.
  • Ability to support and encourage teams when working under pressure to meet agreed objectives.
  • Excellent oral and written communications, with the ability to receive and provide highly complex or sensitive information.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess and monitor progress and make adjustments to plans where necessary.
  • Presentation, negotiation, influencing and persuasion skills.
  • Able to meet the flexible working requirements of the role - candidates can be homebased anywhere within England.
