An opportunity has arisen for an accomplished and proven Group Reporting candidate within the head office function of a FTSE 250 market leader based in South East London. Reporting into a dynamic and challenging CFO, this role offers an individual the opportunity to assume full responsibility for the consolidation of more than 5 distinct regions.
The CFO is seeing a practice trained ACA, likely from the Big 4, with experience in industry in a complex group reporting team. The Head of Group Reporting will have ultimate responsibility for all group consolidation work, statutory reporting, technical accounting projects (IFRS 15, 16 and 9 knowledge would be favourable) and for overseeing all tax and treasury activities.
Following a series of recent high profile changes within finance, this role could quickly evolve into that of a broader Group FC. With that in mind, candidates with both skill sets will be considered. Regardless of qualification background, PLC reporting experience at a senior level is absolute pre-requisite and candidates must be able to demonstrate development and progression throughout their career. The business has achieved steady growth in recent years and this new addition to the team will be expected to support this ongoing growth.
