Head of Sales/Business Development (Digital Identity)

Market Leading provider of Retail Financial services and Travel Money/Products, is currently recruiting a Head of Business Development to drive forward their Identity Services Business, whose ambition is to lead the market for Digital Identity which is a huge strategic growth opportunity for the business.

As Head of Business Development the ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-driven and action oriented, with great interpersonal skills, ideally with knowledge of the Digital Identity, KYC and AML landscape, or a strong fintech sales background. Confident of working in a sales environment with large Financial Services (FS) and Travel institutions.

As Head of Business Development the role will include:

  • Working collaboratively with a high-performing team to deliver first class sales propositions across an increasingly competitive landscape
  • Ownership of tier 1 & 2 FS & Travel prospects & accounts, amongst others, delivering an end-to-end market-leading sales process
  • Identifying and acquiring profitable clients - and quantifying new sales channels
  • Quickly establishing a detailed and robust account plan
  • Managing relationships with internal stakeholders, prospects and key strategic partners
  • Lead bid teams / consortia (internal and external) to effectively respond to client's needs
  • Pipeline generation, management and reporting (incl. timely and accurate sales forecasts)

As Head of Business Development your experience will include:

  • Broad and detailed experience in developing and maintaining senior level relationships across the Financial Services (FS) and/or Travel industry
  • Proven experience of selling high value (technology led) solutions
  • Capable of building complex multi-party (internal & external) bid consortia for high-value programmes
  • Experience of creating and managing channel and key strategic partner relationships

On offer is a basic c100-110k, Car Allowance and Bonus, package total c150-200k.
