This global organisation are the leading source of information and mass media insights, providing intelligent information to businesses and professionals worldwide. They are looking to hire a Finance Director to work within the Technology sector of their business, based in Central London

A real business partnering role, supporting senior stakeholders across the Technology division with all financial aspects involved in key projects relating to a recent re-organisation, mergers and profitability.

This is an exciting time to join this unique business as various projects and implementations take place across the finance function.

You will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5+ years post qualified experience, who has proven experience in supporting senior stakeholders within a large organisation.

About your new role

You will report into the Head of Finance and form part of the wider FP&A team, taking full ownership of the projects, which will require the successful candidate to be creative and have the ability to think on their feet and engage with stakeholders across the Company.

Key duties will include:

  • Be the finance lead for contract separation process, partnering with Vendor Management to track the financial impact of asset allocation
  • Coordination across Technology Finance function for mergers and acquisition related activities, partnering with deal team and wider business and finance stakeholders
  • Be the Finance lead for product profitability analysis, partnering with central finance teams
  • Partnering with Sourcing team to understand and track the Technology related vendor savings
  • Partnering with Project Managers leading separation projects

About you

  • Qualified Accountant, preferably ACCA/CIMA
  • Minimum 5 years post qualified experience
  • Management experience within a Finance function is desirable, not essential
  • Ideal industry background is within Technology or Financial Services
  • Experience of Mergers and Acquisitions highly desirable
  • Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, dynamic, global business environment.
