Dudley CCG is situated in the Black Country. The CCG membership comprises of 43 GP Practices across 5 localities within the Dudley Borough and covers a registered patient population of approximately 317,000 people.

We are responsible for commissioning circa £500m of healthcare services for our registered population and are have a strong commitment to values and a positive working culture that empowers our staff to think differently and achieve substantial improvements in the services we commission. We are also a consistently high performing organisation in our own right, working at the vanguard of national developments in our field; and we have achieved many improvements in the both quality of services and in better health outcomes for Dudley people.

The CCG is seeking to appoint a Governing Body Lay Member (Non-Executive Director) to join the organisation who will take lead oversight for Governance (Chair of Audit and Governance Committee).

You will bring strategic insight and impartiality to our governing body with a commitment to good governance. We would expect the applicant to hold a recognised, financial qualification however, candidates that demonstrate requisite, relevant experience will be considered. You will also support the drive and ambition of the CCG to further excel at what we do to achieve better results for our population; and to continue to develop leading-edge thinking and progressive ways of working.

The time commitment is approximately 3-5 days per month and remuneration is £13,500 per annum. Some time commitment may also be required in the evenings.
