This long established and successful privately owned, specialist engineering group manufactures and supplies high reliability precision assemblies and components to diverse market sectors including, Defence, Aerospace, Space, Scientific Instrumentation, Medical and Life Sciences.

A culture of innovation and excellence has maintained the group at the forefront of changing technologies and secured its position in global markets. With a wide range of technical expertise, the group is recognised as a leading manufacturer and provider of custom built electro-mechanical and high-vacuum sub systems, supported by an extensive range of standard components.

The impending departure of the present Managing Director now necessitates the recruitment of a high calibre professional to take over this position within the company and maintain the high standards of the Group, whilst meeting the challenge of delivering significant organic growth for continuing and increasing success in dynamic global markets.

This demanding but rewarding role would be best served by an astute business leader who is a natural leader and motivator of people. The Managing Director will have a flair for innovation and the ability to capitalise on and develop the existing talent, creativity and expertise within the company and work in harmony with a highly skilled senior management team.

The Managing Director will possess the skills, abilities and experience to fulfil the requirements of the strategic management of the company in line with the realisation of the overarching business strategy. This position requires a solution driven individual willing to embrace and deliver change as part of the on-going development of the business, whilst at the same time maintaining an open and on-going dialogue with the chairman of the board, family shareholders and non- executive directors.
