Senior Commercial Manager
Our client, a leading international food ingredients group, is recruiting a Senior Commercial Manager. Reporting to the Divisional Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic, commercial sales plan to deliver continued profitable growth across the division.
Key responsibilities include: Development and implementation of the 5-year strategic plan, working closely with procurement, planning, and operations functions; Leading and motivating a commercial/sales team capable of delivering the strategic plan; Playing a key role as part of the leadership team, collaborating with R&D and Technical teams to support the NPD process; Establishing core performance indicators to assess commercial team performance whilst implementing new processes and technology to drive efficiency.
To apply, you must have a proven record in commercial leadership roles in the ingredients sector, preferably dairy. Likely to have some export experience, you will have led and developed multi-skilled teams capable of identifying new opportunities and bringing them to market in conjunction with R&D teams. With a hands-on approach, you will be an expert in developing key customer relationships in a B2B environment to shape and influence the performance of an innovative business with an impressive track-record.
