Head of Group Reporting
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and driven individual to assume a Head of Group Reporting position within the head office finance team of a high-growth, privately owned technology firm. Reporting into an impressive CFO with an undeniable track-record, the successful individual will enjoy real autonomy to structure and improve the group reporting function as he or she sees fit.
The CFO is seeing a practice trained ACA, likely from the Big 4, with experience in industry in a complex group reporting team. The Head of Group Reporting will have ultimate responsibility for all group consolidation work, statutory reporting, technical accounting projects (IFRS 15, 16 and 9 knowledge would be favourable) and for overseeing all tax and treasury activities.
The business currently turns over c.£500 million and has ambitious growth plans that will see that triple in the next 2 years, largely through acquisition. The Head of Group Reporting will enjoy exposure to this acquisition work and the subsequent integration projects and will see their responsibility increase exponentially over this time period. The CFO has delivered growth stories similar to this in his previous roles and is looking for a motivated and determined ‘number 2’ to join him on this journey.
