Your role in this? To act as the right hand person to the Managing Director. The timeliness, accuracy and integrity of the numbers produced by your team will be taken as a given: you will be recruited (and measured) on your ability to partner a strategic, forward thinking Managing Director on this journey.
How will you do this? Through you and your team utilising the data at hand to provide relevant, challenging and pro-active insight to the business. Through positioning finance as the enabler for sales and operations winning the right type of business at the right price. Through acting upon your instinct.
A Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) with a demonstrable track record of driving performance, commercial nous and positive influence, you will provide a natural balance to the Managing Director, ensuring that ideas are implemented (and challenged) as appropriate.
North-West based, with an occasional (though consistent) requirement for international travel.
